Framework Capacities

Three main components :

Connectors: They made integrations with external system - Oracle Could, ServiceNow, AWS, and more, easy!

Pre-made Generic Workflows: They can be easily applied with little or now modification to automate any business process.

Utility and Functional Components: These objects are made available on the framework to users to create and manage workflows.

Connector Object

The connectors are implemented in Scriptable Object as functions, users then can use these functions to integrate with different external systems. Popular systems Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow Flow, AWS Simple Workflow Connectors are available on the framework.

Scriptable Object

Scriptable Object are powerful, the Utility|Helper functions are available for rich set of capacities. The framework still offers the Scriptable Object to create custom Scripts to accommodate complex requirements. In this example, we can write JavaScript to request Uber ride.

The Scriptable Object can also trigger any scripts (Java, Python) that are on the host machine (Windows, Mac, Linux).

Generic Workflows

This framework comes with Pre-made (Out of box) Generic workflows and users can use these workflows and sub-workflows to make this framework as the integration hub or parent workflow to manage the workflow automations across different systems in one central place.

in this above example, the Pre-made (Out of Box) Workflow is a Credit Card Application Workflow. If user already has an existing Credit Card Application Workflow, this workflow will execute that existing workflow.

However, if there is not such workflow, this workflow can be used for a Credit Card Application, where user can define what Credit Bureaus to use for Soft and Hard Pulls. When it comes, the Credit Application needs underwriter review, it will be re-assigned to the Underwriter team.

Users can easily setup these pre-made workflows with little or no changes required.

Workflows can be attached to other workflows.

In this example, a generic enterprise workflow consists of generic HR, IT, Sales, Account Departments sub-workflows. The idea is to logically group sub-workflows under the workflow.

AWS Simple Workflow Connector

In this example, user has a Simple AWS Workflow - Example workflow for an e-commerce application

We can use AWS Simple Workflow Connector to manage this workflow.

For example, we can initiate this workflow from this Framework (When customer purchase from us and we need to buy a component from Amazon), once the workflow is completed in AWS world, the workflow will sync status and data between the two systems.

The above workflow is Pre-made(Out of box) on this framework, where it not only keeps track of the Order status in AWS via AWS SWF Connector and upon order submission, it will also do additional automations including the company's internal inventory and engage the Procurement Team if there is an issue with this order,

ServiceNow Flow Designer Connector

In this example, user has a workflow (ServiceNow Flow) and in this case, we could use ServiceNow Flow Connector to manage this workflow.

In this example above, this is a HR Department workflow where employees are requesting a Time Off, we can use our Framework to integrate with it and when their manager approved the Time off request, this connector can run automation script to set the out of office status in his/her enterprise chat application status and auto E-mail reply for the duration of the time off.

The above workflow is one of the Pre-made(Out of box) Workflows with minor modifications to work with ServiceNow HR Time Off Workflow using ServiceNow Connector. The user needs to place ServiceNow Flow Connector and it will take care of the underline communication and integration between the two systems.

Lastly, it integrates with the corporate chat and email system to set OOO (Out of Office) status for the duration of the time off once approved.
